About Me

Amalia enjoys seeking outdoor adventures, volunteering as a mentor for Big Brother Big Sister’s Hawai’i, trying new food spots, and being with her dog, Pua. Spending most of her life in the San Francisco Bay Area, she now considers Honolulu, Hawai’i her home. 

Graduating with a Bachelors of Arts in Child Development from San Francisco State University, Amalia decided to continue with her educational journey. She is now an AMS Certified Montessori Teacher in both primary (3-6 years old) and Lower Elementary (6-9 years old). Amalia has experience working as a Head Teacher for Toddler, Primary, and Lower Elementary Montessori Classrooms.  Currently, she is working towards her Special Education Teaching Credential, through, The University of Hawai’i.

Educational Approach

Amalia is a firm believer that all individuals are unique and learn differently. Her teaching reflects this by providing a wide range of instructional methods that are specific to each individual’s needs. Amalia takes pride in being a teacher and helping to instill a love for learning in all.
